When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
                                                          Love gets ugly.     (from Goodreads)

Ugly Love was such a sweet and comical read that I couldn't help but to eat it up in 1day.

Miles is the typical dreamy, non commitment, no drama bad boy that always seems to weasel their way into my heart.  Tate is a masters student going for Ber anesthesia degree in nursing.  That's right guys, for once the girl already has a great career!!  I could just melt right now.

Its definitely not your typical romance.  This is barely a friends with benefits situation and being neighbors just adds to the madness.  I will, however, say that Tate's brother is awesome and definitely needed for this story to really flow.

I tried to read Hopeless by Colleen Hoover and just couldn't get very far in it.  This was so much better!!  The character development is on point.  I love that Miles' point of view is in flashbacks and not current because that makes me love him more.  His story is great, and my heart shattered into a million pieces by the end.

Tate is the girl I wish I could be, in that she is sure of herself and knows to keep herself at a distance.  This wasn't your typical boy meets girl and they fall in love story.  This is a hate turned benefits but not even friends through half of it.  And that makes this so unique.

I will definitely try some of Hoovers other works now, just not Hopeless :)

4 out of 5 Happy Clouds :)
