Hi there! I'm Happy Cloud, and I LOVE books. I started this book blog for the sole purpose to connect with other readers and find out about books I would have never heard of otherwise. And I really enjoy reviewing books!
I am a book lover, mother of a 1 year old baby girl (nicknamed Sami), and a proud wife of an indie video game developer. We live in somewhere in Illinois. We also have a very charismatic Visula-Lab mix named Harley Quinn who keeps us entertained.
What I Read:
I read a variety of things, but I tend to stick to YA and New Adult. With that being said, I will read anything across the board within YA (including fantasy, paranormal, contemporary, and horror).
Some other genres I dabble in are Adult Romance, Adult Contemporary, and Adult Thriller/Suspense. And you will also see some reviews on books from other genres not listed, depending on what speaks to me at the time.
How I Review:
I review a little differently than most, in that I very RARELY give half stars. It's a whole star or nothing in my world.
5 "Happy Clouds" = I loved it. I'd reread it, recommend it, couldn't get enough of it.
4 "Happy Clouds" = I liked it. I don't know if I would reread it, but I really enjoyed it.
3 "Happy Clouds" = It was okay. I wanted or expected much more and just didn't find it as enjoyable as I expected it. If an author I haven't read/reviewed before, I probably won't pick up any
of their other works.
2 "Sad Clouds" = I didn't like it. I will list my reasons
on the review.

1 "Sad Cloud" = I don't want to say that I will ever
"hate" a book, but I really really didn't like the book.
This is a sign of severe dislike.
Other Notes:
PURCHASED is my way of saying I did not receive this for review. I receive books through family and friends as well as my library, but I also do purchase my own books!!
If I receive a book for review, my review will ALWAYS state this within the first paragraph of my review.
Amazon links ARE affiliate links, unless otherwise stated. I receive a small compensation if you buy using my link.
